Test Shots/Set-ups for Product Shot Assignment

Set-Ups for my test shot-

Set-Up-

At first, I thought it was going to be really difficult to make my own set-up at home that would be similar to the studio in college, but after some research and from my previous work in the labs i made this set-up.

I luckily have a reflective glass surface in my room so i knew i wanted to take my image on this to give it more depth. I used lighting that was available to me which was natural lighting from the window as i have shown and a lamp. 

Lighting-

I stuck a white piece of card to use as the background for the test shot. I used natural lighting and then side lighting from the lamp to add an effect.

      

 Test Shots-

These were just a few of my favourite images from the test shots that i took for my product advertisement assignment. I enjoyed doing this and found it very useful!  I understand from this practice where i went wrong and what i need to improve on for the final piece.

I think i captured the bottle in a nice way, i think it was well lit but I may need just another light source to make it perfect. The label is well lit with no glares. I think with more practice I can , 

make it work.
